TOPAZ Signature Pad Setup in SQBX
Signature pads allow SQBX users to sign for packages in a seamless manner on their Windows machines
Device Setup
Plug the signature pad into an open USB port on the PC
Wait for the device drivers to install, a success message should appear in your taskbar once complete
Follow additional browser specific setup instructions below (
Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Mozilla Firefox versus Microsoft Internet Explorer)
For Use with Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Mozilla Firefox
Open the SigWeb installation guide from here: Topaz Sigweb
Follow the instructions in the document carefully to complete installation
Login as Admin user on SQBX
Go to Admin → Package Tracking Settings → System Settings
Select the Use TOPAZ USB Signature Capture Device (HTML5) checkbox
Select Submit to save changes**
Note: If you are still unable to sign, you may need to install the TOPAZ Signature Pad driver from HERE
For Use with Microsoft Internet Explorer
Internet Explorer is no longer supported please see Supported Browsers & Browser Issues
Ensure that the latest version of Java is installed
Download the TOPAZ Signature Pad driver from HERE
Run the program and allow to install
Login as Admin user on SQBX
Go to Admin → Package Tracking Settings → System Settings
Select the Use TOPAZ USB Signature Capture Device (Java) checkbox
Select Submit to save changes**
** If the you have different Job Function options for different users, you will need to make sure the Package Tracking Settings for: ______ are also set to the same settings as the Default settings for each Job Function, otherwise, these users will not be able to see the signature pad load on the screen when in use. Do so by selecting the drop down and matching the settings for each Job Function to that of the Default settings.
