How to Setup and Use Storage Location
Storage Locations are useful for SqBx Users who store Packages for an extended amount of time or will need to Retrieve Packages at a Pickup Window. This will help your team easily store and locate where a package is being held.
Creating Storage Locations
- Go to Admin → Locations → Storage Locations
- Enter in the Name, Description (optional, and Max Capacity (optional) for the Storage Location. The Name is required and will be Displayed throughout the system, Description is a brief summary of what it will be used for, and Max Capacity is for many packages this location can fit at a given time (if applicable). Click Add Storage Location when finished.
- Repeat this step for any other Storage Locations that will be used. You may also Print the Storage Locations onto a label to help identify each area by clicking on the Label Icon next to the Storage Location or checking the locations that need printed under Group and clicking Group label Print. You can also select all the Storage Locations by checking the Check All box and clicking Group Label Print.
To fully utilize Storage Capacity, you will need to enable this under Admin → Package Tracking Settings → System Settings and checking the the 'Use Storage Location Capacity' box.
